Two great Women's shiurim this Shabbos Afternoon


Chicago Center for Torah and Chesed's Women's Division invites all women to participate in our annual inspiring Shabbos afternoon shiurim. This Shabbos in West Rogers Park, May 25th- Hosted by Mrs. Avi Rottman at 6732 N. Richmond, given by Mrs. Yocheved Ernster.




Rabbi Reuven Brand, Rosh Kollel of the YU Torah Mitzion Kollel will be speaking this Shabbos afternoon, May 25th, at the home of Mrs. Miri Rosenwasser, 2908 W. Fitch Ave at 5:30pm. Come for the Shiur, stay for the food!

Rabbi Reuven Leuchter, one of the leading mussar personalities in Eretz Yisroel, will be giving a drasha Shabbos morning at Mikor Hachaim and he will be the guest speaker at Shalosh Seudos this Shabbos at STMY (in conjunction with JET).
He is the primary student of Rav Shlomo Wolbe z'tl.

Hi! I'm please to announce that our "Links for Local Learning" page has been recently updated with information about each link and if their website contains mp3 shiurim (either for streaming or downloading). Be on the look out for the first webpage on the internet with a list of Daf Yomi shiurim in our community (the last list ever posted online hasn't been updated in, at least, 7 years).

The Shabbat afternoon study group at the Young Israel of West Rogers Park continues this Shabbat. We are learning Mesillat Yesharim and we have just begun, so it's an excellent opportunity to jump in. The group meets at one hour before Shabbat Mincha and is open to men and women.

There is a class for adults every Sunday, 9:30 am at our Hebrew School (takes place at Cong B'nai Shalom - 701 W Aptakisic). This class is free of charge. Feel free to come check it out.
